We are proud to partner with the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority (OAQDA) through the Clean Air Improvement Program (CAIP) and the City of Cincinnati to implement key sustainability and infrastructure enhancements at The Point! These investments reflect our ongoing commitment to improving the community, enhancing pedestrian safety, and aligning with the priorities of Cincinnati City Council and the University of Cincinnati.
Through these initiatives, we are making significant upgrades, including:
- A high-performance building envelope with enhanced insulation for greater energy efficiency
- A rooftop solar array to incorporate renewable energy
- Upgraded HVAC systems designed for improved efficiency and reduced environmental impact
- Energy-efficient windows to enhance temperature regulation and sustainability
Beyond these building enhancements, we are leading a major pedestrian safety initiative, funded by the Corryville TIF, to improve the streetscape surrounding The Point. This project, recently presented to City Council, includes:
- New curbs and curb bump-outs to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety
- Painted crosswalks, enhanced street lighting, and updated signage for safer navigation
- Tree wells and sidewalk improvements to create a more welcoming, walkable environment
