Investing in a Cleaner, Stronger Cincinnati
For more than 35 years, Uptown Rentals has been committed to revitalizing and investing in the neighborhoods that make Cincinnati home. That commitment extends beyond development and property management. It includes showing up, taking responsibility, and leading by example.
Recently, WLWT News featured our CEO Dan Schimberg and his wife for their involvement in Cincinnati’s Adopt‑A‑Spot program, a community initiative led by nonprofit Keep Cincinnati Beautiful to combat illegal dumping and improve public spaces throughout the city.
Through the program, residents and local leaders “adopt” sections of roadway and take an active role in keeping them clean. Dan and his wife adopted a stretch of Columbia Parkway, making community cleanup part of their regular routine and reinforcing the belief that consistent, hands‑on effort can create lasting impact.
Community Is Core to Who We Are
Uptown was founded on the principle that strong communities are built through care, accountability, and long‑term investment. As a company deeply rooted in Cincinnati, we recognize that the health of our neighborhoods directly affects the people who live, work, and do business there.
Efforts like Adopt‑A‑Spot help address more than just litter. Clean, well‑maintained spaces contribute to safer streets, increased foot traffic, and stronger neighborhood pride—outcomes that align closely with our mission to enhance the communities we serve.
Leading with Purpose
We commend Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and the many volunteers across Greater Cincinnati who are working every day to protect and improve shared spaces. Their efforts—and those of community‑minded residents—help ensure Cincinnati continues to be a place people are proud to call home.
