Our Newest Student Housing Community in Mt. Auburn
We’re excited to share that construction is officially underway on our latest development. The Arc is a new student housing project located at 2443 Auburn Avenue in Mt. Auburn. Positioned prominently at the corner of Auburn Avenue and East McMillan Street, The Arc completes our presence on all four corners of this key Uptown intersection, joining our existing communities: The Mansion, The Point, and Auburndale.
About The Arc
A sister project to The Point (across the street), The Arc is designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality student housing in the area. The community will feature 56 units and 194 bedrooms. A few of the premium amenities include:
- A resident clubroom
- Multiple study rooms
- Fitness center
- Outdoor gathering space
- Dedicated package room
Located within the Auburn Avenue Historic District, the building will showcase a fully masonry façade blending modern student living with timeless architectural character to create a landmark presence in the neighborhood.
Sustainable Design with Long-Term Impact
The Arc will continue our commitment to sustainable development. Like The Point, this project will utilize the Ohio Air Quality Development Authority’s (OAQDA) Clean Air Improvement Program (CAIP) under the Efficiently Designed Whole Building designation. As a result, the building will achieve 50% energy savings above baseline Ohio Building Code standards. To meet these high-efficiency standards, we’re incorporating a number of energy-saving features:
- Enhanced wall and roof insulation
- High-performance, energy-efficient windows
- LED lighting throughout the building
- Efficient boiler systems for domestic hot water
- A solar panel array that will offset the majority of electricity needs in shared common areas
