Uptown’s Founder and President Receives Distinguished Real Estate Service Award
Last month, our team had the privilege of celebrating our founder and president, Dan Schimberg, as he received the University of Cincinnati Real Estate Center’s Distinguished Real Estate Service Award. Presented at the Real Estate Center’s Annual Dinner on June 4 at Cincinnati Music Hall, this award is the highest honor of the evening, recognizing individuals who have made a lasting impact on the real estate industry and the Cincinnati community.
A Well-Deserved Recognition
The Distinguished Real Estate Service Award is given to leaders who not only achieve long-term success in their field, but also demonstrate a strong commitment to giving back and shaping the future of the region. Dan’s selection as the 2026 honoree reflects decades of dedication to both. Since founding Uptown Rental Properties in 1985, he has helped grow the company from a single property into one of the region’s most recognized housing providers—delivering thousands of apartment homes and investing in communities throughout Cincinnati and beyond.
