Uptown Service Day
At Uptown Rental Properties, we believe being part of a community means more than just living and working in it—it means showing up, lending a hand, and making a lasting impact. Our Cincinnati community service day at Uptown is a reflection of that commitment, bringing our team together each year to give back to the neighborhoods we proudly serve.
This year, our team spread out across the Cincinnati area, partnering with two incredible organizations—Matthew 25 Ministries and the DCCH Center for Children and Families—to support meaningful, hands-on service projects.
From corporate staff to maintenance teams, employees stepped away from their day-to-day roles to give back to the communities we proudly serve.
Serving Our Communities—One Location at a Time
Matthew 25 Ministries
At Matthew 25 Ministries, Uptown team members assisted with a variety of projects focused on supporting humanitarian aid efforts. Volunteers helped sort, organize, and prepare donated goods that will be distributed to individuals and families in need both locally and globally.
This hands-on work plays a vital role in ensuring essential items reach those who need them most—turning donations into direct impact.
DCCH Center for Children and Families
At DCCH Center for Children and Families, our team focused on projects that help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for children and families. Employees rolled up their sleeves to assist with improvement projects that directly benefit those receiving care and services.
From enhancing shared spaces to supporting the organization’s daily operations, the impact of these efforts will be felt long after Service Day ends.
A Day of Purpose and Teamwork
Beyond the projects themselves, Uptown Service Day is about connection—building relationships across teams and working side-by-side toward a shared purpose.
Whether it was organizing donations or improving community spaces, every effort contributed to something bigger. The day gave employees a chance to step outside their roles and see firsthand the impact they can make in the community.
Why It Matters
Service Day reflects a core value at Uptown: community commitment. We recognize that our role extends beyond managing properties—we are active partners in the neighborhoods our residents call home.
By partnering with organizations like Matthew 25 Ministries and DCCH, we aim to:
- Support meaningful, community-driven work
- Strengthen relationships throughout Cincinnati
- Foster a culture of service and teamwork among our employees
Continuing the Impact
While Uptown Service Day is one of our favorite traditions, the spirit behind it continues throughout the year. It inspires ongoing involvement and reinforces our commitment to making a difference wherever we can.
We’re proud of the work our team accomplished—and grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside organizations that are making such a meaningful impact.
